On May 15th 2009 I (Gregory)helped open the doors to new Gallery store on Kater st between South and Bainbridge st in Philadelphia. I did an installation there with my friends dom and kyle. We printed all over the walls and ceiling with silkscreen and used special sponges i made to print in those hard to reach corners and awkward textured surfaces. Here are some images of the installation.

I found these old photos on my parents computer. This was a project from my first silkscreen class ever at Tyler circa 2002. Everyone in the class made an edition and we all traded prints. I went to the Mutter Museum and was instantly inspired by the 8 ft long Colon they had preserved there. I came up with a paper mache poop and colon project...Every one got to take home a peice of my poop. I wonder if any of my class mates still has theirs.??

Winter Blog Blues!!!!

SO sorry to the very proud and few readers of this blog...It has been a very depressing and blah blue blah balls winter...A lot is happening here in the world of Labold. It's been a long time since we have done anything clothing related..aside from wearing lots of layers this winter. Don't look forward to any FASHION shows anytime soon either. Our focus is being redirected back to our roots. I(greg) am working on a few illustrated stories with a number of writer artist friends. James has been teaching glass classes at Outcast studios in fishtown philadelphia AND continuing with his plans of world domination. We installed a show at seven stones cafe. I will post picks soon?. The brothers Labold got the band back together and wrote a bunch of love songs for an awesome valentines day bash at the big rock candy mountain in good old kenso. After the crazy friday the 13th party we had i Finally got the screenprinting studio set up again. I just printed a few original one of a kind hoodies for some close friends. For the past two weeks i (GREG) have been learning from my brother (JIM) how to sculpt and form HOT GLASS. I have made 4 cups in two sessions. You also can learn how to do these things if you take my brothers class.

CONSUMER CLAWS is coming to town!!!

We would like to thank everyone who purchased a Labold Brothers piece of art or apparel for their loved ones this holiday season. We met a lot of great consumers and crafters at all the shows we did this past month.

Consumer Claws has come to town, ripped open our wallets, and made us spend our last few dollars to stimulate this great countries economy.

Now that everyone else has something special and hand made for their families it is time for the Labold Boys to make their last minute x-mas gifts for the Labold Family back on the ranch!!
